After more than 30 years of ophthalmologic service to our pediatric community, Dr. Teather is no longer accepting new pediatric patients under the age of 12 years of age. Established patients under 12 years of age will be continued to serviced until a transfer of care can be arranged. Dr. Teather and staff are working diligently to ensure a smooth transition and will be available to assist with transfer of medical records.
Dr. Teather is accepting new patients 12 years of age and up with medical and surgical conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus (esotropia, exotropia, cranial nerve palsies), tear duct obstructions, uveitis, JIA/JRA, diabetic retinopathy, neurological conditions (neurofibromatosis, migraine, pseudotumor cerebri, brain tumors) etc. Routine glasses and contact lens examinations for 12 year old's and up, should be scheduled with your favorite optometrist.
